Quake Live went live, or at least open beta, on the 24th, and the instituted a queue to login. Within the first 6 hours after launch over 110,000 player accounts were created, and it seems that every single one of them wants to login at the same time. I’ve not bothered waiting in the queue because I’d have to wait behind 90,000 people just to update the client, then restart the browser and have to wait another fourteen hours to login again. Fuck that. May as well just pirate Quake III.
